Ruveon is America's dedicated glyphosate company, part of Bayer's Crop Science family. We seek a Production Technician - Formulations North to operate and optimize chemical processing equipment safely, follow SOPs, and support changeovers in a fast-paced environment.

You will read SOPs, collect samples, load/unload materials, and troubleshoot equipment while upholding strict ESH and QA/QC standards. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential, with rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to perform elevated work and work using portable ladders.
• Willingness to use a full-face respirator, self-contained breathing apparatus, and various other PPE.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including required overtime hours and weekends to support business needs.
• Use control/display screens, process pumps and equipment, and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment safely.
• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Take required samples during the production process.
• Load/unload railcars and bulk trailers.
• Troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, processes, and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.

• Issue work permits to contractors and monitor progress.
• Conduct process equipment isolation and support in changeover activities.

They use knowledge of the process, operating procedures, raw materials, and products to control equipment used in the manufacturing process.**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Responsible for the safe operation of chemical processing equipment* Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)* Use control/display screens, process pumps and equipment, and various hand tools;* Take required samples during the production process* Load/unload railcars and bulk trailers* Troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, processes, and systems* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections* Decontaminate equipment and piping for maintenance or disposal* Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the site's Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards (e.g. general shop floor/machine safety and operating procedures* Issuing work permits to contractors and monitor progress and conditions of contractor work* Conducting process equipment isolation* Operate equipment used to support manufacturing operations (forklift, scissor lift, shuttle wagon, JLG, etc.)* Assist in reviewing and approving key process documentation (operating, start-up and shut-down procedures; process flow and instrumentation diagrams; etc.)* Assist in product changeover activities. Basics of plant/unit operations and safety equipment.* Performs general housekeeping duties**Required Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED* Willingness to perform elevated work and work using portable ladders* Willingness to use a full-face respirator, self-contained breathing apparatus, and various other forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)* Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift to 60 lbs.* Ability to work rotating shifts, including required overtime hours and weekends to support business needs* Use control/display screens, process pumps and equipment, and various hand tools**Preferred Qualifications:*** Manufacturing or agriculture operations experience, military, or similar experience* Experience operating a fork truck* Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills* Personal focus on safety, teamwork, and adaptability* Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen* Able to work without direct supervision in a diverse team environmentPosting will be available until October 15, 2026.*Employees can expect to be paid a salary of $30.42 per hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
