Job summary

PTA Plastics is seeking a versatile production helper to support its cored wire production. You will assist line operators and help prepare finished products for shipment, with potential assignments in shipping, receiving, and fabrication.

Roles require basic manufacturing experience, willingness to work varying shifts, and strict adherence to safety SOPs. The job involves handling powders, operating PPE, and performing general plant clean-up as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience with fork trucks, cranes, and welding is a plus.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Employee must be punctual and dependable; overtime may be required.
• Willingness to work day and/or night shift; schedules may change on short notice.
• Must work with gloves and eye protection; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist line operators and prepare finished product for shipment.
• Follow SOPs for labeling, identifying, and storing materials per customer specs.
• Operate and maintain equipment listed in the job description.
• Weigh, identify, package, and store materials to be shipped.
• Maintain logs for fork truck and overhead crane maintenance.
