Job summary

DreamFields is seeking Cannabis Production Technicians to manufacture products from initial stages to sale-ready units for dispensaries across the state. You will work in a high-volume production line, ensuring quality and adherence to GMP practices.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED, 1+ year of production experience, and the ability to learn different cannabis strains. Training on safety and hygiene is provided; overtime and varied shifts may apply.

Job Summary:

Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing our products from the initial stages to final sale-ready units that will be distributed to dispensaries throughout the state and ultimately into the hands of our customers who enjoy our top-of-the-line branded products.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manipulating flower and oil.
• Weighting, stuffing, and rolling products.
• Labeling, stickering, and packaging finished goods.
• Required to hit specific cycle times in each position.
• Required to work in a high-volume manual production assembly line and achieve both individual and team performance goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Ability to learn and adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis.
• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment to meet goals without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of health and hygiene as required by OSHA.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English and be receptive to feedback and coaching from the management team to maintain product quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing position.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing consumable goods is preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Must be physically capable of sitting or standing for long periods or entire shifts.
• Must be capable of repetitive motion using hands and arms.
• This position requires frequent use of both hands and fingers to perform fine motor tasks, including handling product, assembling packaging, and applying compliance labels. Applicants must be able to perform these essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):

This position is scheduled on a full-time basis. Specific shift times and workdays are determined by the operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Whenever feasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.

Positions in our production facilities may lead to regular exposure to cannabis plant material, dust, and other potential allergens. Individuals with sensitivity to pollen, molds, or strong odors may experience discomfort. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
