Job summary

Opta Group LLC in Walkerton, Indiana is seeking a Production Technician Associate to support daily operations in the production area. You will operate forklifts, assist with packaging, maintain cleanliness, perform routine maintenance checks, and help ensure safety and quality across the line.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work both in a team and independently, and the capacity to follow production reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to follow a production report while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials.
• Pack 10–50 lb bags and fill large bulk containers and tankers.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and work area.
• Perform daily maintenance checks per procedures.
• Escalate issues to specialists when problems arise.
• Track data from production equipment and report inconsistencies.
• Follow safety and operating procedures to maintain high production.
• Take samples per quality standards and deliver to lab.
• Ensure finished products are labeled and customer specs followed.
• Use correct materials per customer formulations.
