Production Technician-Aseptic Operator II (Duplex Filling)

Position Summary

Perform setup and operation of the Filling Line. Ensure all Quality specifications are met during manufacturing. Troubleshoot Powder Dosing on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s) within the Duplex Catalog to meet Quality and Specifications. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and collaborate with Maintenance to improve efficiency. Prepare and sterilize parts and components per procedures. Work with Production Leads and Supervisors to meet daily goals, ensuring documentation compliance with Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to manufacture products according to specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and quality standards.
• Operate machines and equipment safely and correctly.
• Monitor output quality, discard or rework faulty products.
• Maintain accurate production records for performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize rejects; may act as team leader for work oversight.
• Guide team members and be trained as a trainer.
• Escalate issues to leads or supervisors.
• Forecast future production needs and prepare/sterilize parts accordingly.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Routine, repetitive work following established procedures.
• Work under supervision with detailed instructions; some judgment required.
• Interact mainly with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including overtime and holidays.
• Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices).

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years aseptic experience.
• 3 years manufacturing experience in pharma.
• Experience working in Cephalosporin facilities.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing, autoclaves, sterile solutions, and isolators.
• Understanding of cGMPs, ISO 5 & ISO 7 cleanrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent.
• At least 3 years related experience.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Moderate work involving lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, walking, and repetitive motions. Work environment is a manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Compensation & Benefits
