Arrow Finishing, Inc. is hiring a Production Technician for Racking on the production floor in Blaine, MN. You will rack, un-rack and package parts following process cards, log time in Arrow Flow, and maintain workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities include reading POs, adhering to production rates, and mentoring teammates while keeping an organized area. Typical schedule is 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Summary | Objective

The Production Technician for Racking performs the tasks related to the racking, unracking and packaging of parts for a variety of organizational manufacturing needs in a safe and organized manner.

Key Accountabilities | RESULTS EXPECTED TO ACHIEVE

• Meet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, cost and delivery
• Rack, un-rack, and package parts throughout the anodize process using process card instructions
• Meet or exceed expectations regarding the organization’s attendance policy

Key Responsibilities | TASKS YOU DO TO ACHIEVE THE ACCOUNTABILTIES

• Follow leadership direction regarding work priorities
• Read and understand process cards and POs
• Highlight process cards and purchase orders in accordance with department procedure
• Enter all production and non-production time in Arrow Flow promptly
• Rack and un-rack customer parts in accordance with established process card
• Follow instructions on process card and/or PO to carefully package customer parts
• Understand and meet production rate requirements
• Complete and initial processing steps on job trackers
• Assist and mentor fellow team members in training
• Serve as a role model for accountability and positivity
• Maintain quality as a priority, notify leadership immediately with any quality concerns
• Notify manager of immediate issues that need to be addressed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.

• General knowledge of anodize terminology

• Ability to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 30 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision
• Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires
• Ability to withstand occasional odors and high decibel sounds

Work Environment

This position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
