Qualifications

• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• General reading, mathematics and computer skills required.
• Ability to communicate and work in cooperation with other employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test.
• Working conditions may include varying hours and rotating shifts; overtime up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment throughout the production cycle.
• Assist with equipment setup and operation.
• Perform manual and automated operations and general maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and decontaminate facilities per approved procedures.
• Assist with aseptic procedures including media preparation, antigen inoculation and harvest, tissue culture preparation and harvest, filling vaccines.
• Assist with non-aseptic procedures including handling of live poultry in the harvesting process.
• Filling, labeling, capping, packaging and inspecting product.
• Record keeping including charts, log books and relevant documentation.
• Identify and address compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations and notify appropriate personnel.
• May manage hazardous waste labeling and management with proper training.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and comply with safety policies.
