Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products seeks a Production Technician to set up and changeover equipment in the Manufacturing area and to assist operations by operating equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper setup, monitoring performance, documenting processes, and coordinating with maintenance. The role requires basic computer skills, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong team environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with encapsulation machines, tablet presses, and powder blending equipment preferred
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal).
  • Able to perform repetitive lifting tasks.
  • Flexibility for overtime when needed

The Production Technician is responsible for setting up and changing over of the equipment in the Manufacturing area and assisting in Manufacturing operations by operating equipment as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
  • Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours is this something you would be comfortable with
