Job summary

Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking a Production Technician to operate heavy foundry equipment including presses, mills, casters, shredders, and ovens. You will ensure continuous product flow, inspect quality to meet customer specs, and assist with machine setup and teardown.

The role requires safety adherence and the ability to work a 12-hour 2x2x3 shift schedule. You must pass a pre-employment drug test, have basic math and computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic Microsoft computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test as per federal laws.
• Work a 2x2x3 rotating shift (12 hours).
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety protocols.
• Ensure product flows continuously and meets quality specs.
• Monitor machine calibrations and adjust as required.
• Set up and tear down machines safely.
• Maintain quality control levels as set by Golden Aluminum.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
