Job Description Summary:

  • Responsible for testing products for quality, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels, and setting up and operating production equipment according to manufacturing practices and SOPs.
  • Maintain the plant’s manufacturing equipment in satisfactory condition, including cleaning and sanitizing tanks and pipe routings, maintaining conveyor belts, hooking up and loading raw material delivery tankers, and cleaning work areas, all in accordance with GMP policies to ensure product quality.
  • Move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse or production facilities using forklifts or other equipment to support production and shipping. Inspect facilities to ensure safety and compliance with GMP and company policies. Implement and maintain the Coca-Cola Quality System to ensure product quality. Calculate production yields and scrap quantities to record material usage variances.
  • Communicate with team members to exchange feedback, identify and solve problems, and achieve business objectives.
  • Identify activities not in line with company policies and inform the appropriate parties.
  • Ensure proper documentation and retention of statistics related to policies, procedures, and standards.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Preferred: 2 years of manufacturing and/or shipping experience.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Availability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
  • Good attendance and punctuality, with ability to be in the work area at scheduled times.
  • Initiative and accountability for quality and effectiveness of work.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of production and warehousing, ability to operate a forklift safely, and perform physical tasks including lifting and pushing/pulling up to 55 lbs.
  • Commitment to skill development, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to identify equipment and operational issues.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and high level of personal responsibility.
  • Skills assessment and interview process based on stated requirements.
