Purpose of Role

Efficiently and responsibly cut, bag, and stack feedstocks into appropriate sizes while minimizing scrap rubber trimmings, then run through a metal detector and remove contamination.

Hours

4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Essential Functions

1. Operate all guillotine controls.
2. Cut material to specified sizes/weights and identify groups as per instructions.
3. Check the metal detector at shift start and after lunch.
4. Visually inspect materials for contamination.
5. Stack cut material neatly with poly between layers.
6. Stack waste and cardboard appropriately.
7. Ensure containers are clean and markings are removed before use.
8. Assist in cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns.
9. Maintain cleanliness of area and machinery.
10. Report equipment issues to Maintenance and Team Leader.
11. Follow PPE procedures and safety regulations.
12. Safeguard company property and uphold safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
13. Apply RMA 7S standards and uphold the Code of Conduct.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Forklift license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Requires use of hands, reaching, and occasional climbing stairs or ladders.
• Specific vision abilities required.
