Biovire, Inc. in Brighton, Michigan is seeking a Production Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will perform advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including dispensing, formulation, aseptic filling, packaging, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and production support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems (HMI/SCADA preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
• Ability to mentor teammates and work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
• Operate automated manufacturing systems including HMI and SCADA interfaces
• Review production documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Support investigations and process improvements
• Train and mentor Production Associates and newer Technicians
• Coordinate production activities to support manufacturing schedules
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain cGMP compliance throughout manufacturing operations

Our Production team plays a critical role in safely manufacturing and packaging products that improve and save lives.

The Role

The Production Technician performs advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing operations supporting dispensing, formulation, aseptic filling, packaging, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and production support activities. The role partners closely with Production leadership to maintain efficient, compliant, and reliable manufacturing operations while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring less experienced operators.

Shift Opportunities

• First Shift (7AM–3:30PM)
• Second Shift (3:00PM – 11:30PM + Shift Premium Pay)
• Third Shift (11:00PM – 7:30AM + Shift Premium Pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
• Operate automated manufacturing systems including HMI and SCADA interfaces
