Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for meeting production goals/quality, machine operation and setup, delegation of labor, leading a team, and ensuring proper materials are staged at the machine. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment (including types such as 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag). Additionally, fulfills duties of a Production Technician 1 Feeder/Strapper as required.

SCHEDULE

Wednesday - Sunday
12:15PM - 8:30PM

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Load and unload material into machine. Perform PT1 Strapper and PT1 Feeder duties as required.
• Perform and validate proper machine component setup.
• Apply troubleshooting skills for various machine components, make minor adjustments, and ensure safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Manage machine performance using a computer interface, including data entry into MS Excel and troubleshooting.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, resolve productivity and quality issues, support audits, and report critical data with recommendations.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

Experience

• 1-3 years related experience (Preferred)
• Basic computer experience

• Ability to multi-task and lead a crew for one machine.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving skills.
• Mathematical skills, ability to read machine reports, operate pallet jacks.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions
