Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking Production Technicians at our Tallmadge Form Insulation Plant to join a safety‑driven team. You will operate and monitor production equipment, perform inspections, document data, and maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast‑paced operation.

The role offers a rotating 36/48‑hour schedule, every other weekend off, sign‑on and quarterly bonuses, and benefits from day one. Weekly pay, 401(k) with company match, and stock purchase plan are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures accurately.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately perform inspections and measure objects with tape measure and scale.
• Document production data and quality checks.
• Operate unit wrapper and associated tasks.
• Operate board grinders and feed scrap products.
• Operate a compactor and related tasks.
• Set up and operate cutting machines.
• Operate printer and barcode equipment.
• Operate tow motor and obtain license.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
