Job summary

NatureWorks in Blair, Nebraska, seeks a Production Technician to oversee daily plant operations, emphasizing safety, environmental compliance, and product quality. The role requires 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays with a rotating day/night schedule every four weeks.

You will operate equipment, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with supervisors to improve quality and reduce costs, while maintaining housekeeping standards across the Blair bio-refinery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience desired.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership: ensure plant safety, identify unsafe conditions, and follow EH&S policies.
• Operate equipment, monitor plant systems, troubleshoot, and adjust processes as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors about quality and cost-control improvements.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and support overall plant upkeep.
