Chemours is hiring a Production Technician for the Fayetteville, NC facility. You will operate and maintain chemical process equipment, monitor conditions, and support startup/shutdown activities.

The role requires working 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical degree with 2+ years in related fields and is comfortable with basic computer tools, math, and trend analysis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Or a 2-year associate/technical degree.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical process equipment.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Start up, operate, and shut down equipment per procedures.
• Monitor field equipment, process conditions, and instrumentation.
• Load/unload trucks and manage raw material inventories.
• Perform basic maintenance, create work orders, and update procedures.
• Train and assist team members; follow safety and housekeeping rules.
