Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is seeking a maintenance associate to perform general site upkeep, housekeeping, stocking and plant support at our Beatrice, NE location. The role includes operating forklifts and assisting with equipment and system operations to keep production running smoothly.

You will support quality control, follow safety programs, and help maintain accurate production records while working a team of dedicated colleagues across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Forklift certification within 90 days.
• Able to perform bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Lift/push/pull up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general site upkeep and maintenance tasks.

Job Description

• Responsible for general site upkeep, such as, general maintenance, housekeeping, stocking, etc.
• Operate forklifts to support plant operations.
• Assisting with operating equipment and systems in accordance with site specific activities.
• Support quality control and adherence.
• Basic understanding of standard procedures and safety programs.
• Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occur.
• Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies and employee code of conduct.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Forklift certification (within 90 days).
• Able to perform manual labor tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
