Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is seeking a hands-on site associate to handle general upkeep and operate forklifts in our Nebraska plant. You will assist with equipment, support quality control, and follow site safety programs while maintaining production records and compliant practices.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years of relevant experience, and forklift certification within 90 days. You must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to perform manual labor tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support plant operations.
• Assisting with operating equipment and systems in accordance with site specific activities.
• Support quality control and adherence.
• Basic understanding of standard procedures and safety programs.
• Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occur.
• Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies and employee code of conduct.
