Job summary

Syngenta Seeds in the United States seeks a hands-on site technician to help with general upkeep, stocking and safety compliance on the production floor.

You will operate forklifts, support plant operations, and assist with equipment and systems under site activities, while maintaining records and collaborating with a safety-conscious team.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years’ experience, forklift certification within 90 days, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

• Responsible for general site upkeep, such as, general maintenance, housekeeping, stocking, etc.
• Operate forklifts to support plant operations.
• Assisting with operating equipment and systems in accordance with site specific activities.
• Support quality control and adherence.
• Basic understanding of standard procedures and safety programs.
• Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occur.
• Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies and employee code of conduct.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Forklift certification (within 90 days).
• Able to perform manual labor tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 70 pounds.

• Limited knowledge of routine maintenance procedures.
• Accurate record-keeping of production documents.
