Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Worthington, Indiana is seeking a Production Technician to support harvest, conditioning, warehousing, and data collection at our on-site facility. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely production while collaborating with team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (GED within 1 year) and 2-year technical/associate degree preferred; Lean knowledge and equipment experience are a plus. Willingness to rotate shifts and overtime during seasonal peaks is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; GED within 1 year of hire.
  • Two-year technical/associate degree in agriculture, manufacturing, operations, or related field preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S, continuous improvement, standardized work) valued.
  • Experience with field/agriculture equipment a plus.
  • Must possess valid US driver’s license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures.
  • Willingness to rotate shifts and work overtime during seasonal peaks.

Responsibilities

  • Harvest activities including preparation, sorting, drying.
  • Conditioning activities such as sizing and packaging.
  • Return and rework activities as needed.
  • Quality analysis and control activities.
  • Field management duties like scouting and maintenance.
  • Warehousing tasks including forklift operation and data collection.
  • Support continuous improvement projects with data gathering.
