  • Assemble and manufacture X-ray tubes and related components according to established procedures.

  • Inspect parts and completed work to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Monitor production processes and report issues or improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that help increase quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Work closely with teammates and other departments to meet production goals.
  • Follow all company quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in safety audits and help address any identified concerns.
  • Support other production areas as business needs change.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to help the team succeed.

X-Ray Technology is looking for a Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Scotts Valley. In this role, you'll help build precision X-ray components and products while working in a safe, team-oriented environment. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated to do quality work, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Production Technician, you'll be a key member of our production team, helping ensure products are built safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assemble and manufacture X-ray tubes and related components according to established procedures.
  • Follow production schedules and complete assigned work on time.
  • Operate production equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Inspect parts and completed work to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, mechanical, or technical experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and technical documents.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We're Looking For

  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, mechanical, or technical experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

This is an active manufacturing role that requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for most or all of a shift.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Use hand tools and perform detailed assembly work.
  • Handle small components with accuracy and precision.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the day.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators when needed.
  • Read work instructions, drawings, and computer-based information.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Compensation

In accordance with California law, the expected salary for this full-time, benefited position is between $20/hr - $23/hr. The actual compensation will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and other factors permitted by law.
