Job summary

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking Production Technicians to support manufacturing of diamond wafers. You will operate production machinery, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and production standards are met.

Roles include Laser Technician, TDL Technician, and Surface Finishing Technician with several shifts (4:00pm-2:30am, 3:30pm-12am, 6am-4:30pm). Qualified candidates have manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and read technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
  • Able to lift heavy objects and follow safety protocols.

We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technicians to join our growing team in our Warm Springs location. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate manufacturing of our diamond wafers. You will be responsible for operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, computer literacy, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Any of the following titles may be given at the time of hire: Production Technician, Laser Technician, TDL Technician, or Surface Finishing Technician.

We are hiring for these shifts:

  • 1 person for Laser and Package Technician: Monday-Friday (4:00pm-2:30am)
  • 1 person for RIM Technician position for night shift: Monday-Friday (3:30pm-12am)
  • 1 people for Surface Finishing Technicians for day shift: Monday-Friday (6am-4:30pm)
Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operating machinery, performing basic troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment according to safety and procedural guidelines.
  • Assembly & Quality Control: Assembling products to specifications, conducting quality checks, and documenting production data.
  • Material Handling & Workplace Organization: Safely moving materials, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately recording production data, utilizing computer systems for tracking, and maintaining logs.
  • Teamwork & Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with team members, following instructions, and participating in initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • Possessing prior experience in a manufacturing setting, with technical or vocational training being a plus.
  • Demonstrating the ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and interpret technical documents
  • Exhibiting strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality standards, and the ability to perform inspections.
  • Being able to lift heavy objects, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Possessing basic computer proficiency, including data entry and software navigation, along with effective communication and teamwork skills.

$25 - $37 an hour

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements
  • Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
  • Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
  • Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
  • Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
