SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for seed conditioning during harvest, bagging, re-bagging, maintaining conditioning equipment, supporting field operations, and assisting with shipping and warehousing as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in maintenance of field and plant equipment
• Assist in field operations and scouting
• Operate dryer and sheller under supervision
• Assist in bulk seed movement and management
• Assist in seed conditioning, packaging, and treating operations
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely
• Support warehousing and load building, including load checking for accuracy
• Perform duties such as maintenance, housekeeping, and safety to meet quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain plant housekeeping
• Project a positive image of AgReliant Genetics and act in accordance with our core values
• Perform other duties as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: experience in seed/agriculture industry

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PC software preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
• Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime and shifts
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Walk seed fields up to 5 miles per day
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with MVR guidelines required
