Job summary

CUSA manufactures metal building components and operates production lines to produce parts that meet building specifications and CUSA standards. The Production Technician loads materials, sets up and runs machines, and ensures safe, efficient operation while maintaining quality and adherence to KPIs across the shift.

Position requires at least a High School Diploma and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with a focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a heated indoor shop environment

Qualifications

• Autonomous maintenance practices.

• Experience with scrap reduction and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Daily planning
• Machine set-up and operation
• Safe forklift operation
• Safe machine operation
• Selecting the correct coil
• Autonomous maintenance
• Validating safety systems and estops
• Produce quality products within minimum specs
• Scrap management
• Throughput management
• Setting and tracking goals by using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Required Skills/Abilities

Preferred

Education and Experience

• Indoors, heated shop environment
