Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This role requires hands-on experience in cleanroom operations and a strong understanding of GMP protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of pharmaceutical experience with expertise in equipment setup, material portioning, labeling, and quality documentation. This is a weekend shift opportunity with highly competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, and operate production equipment according to established specifications.
- Assemble and verify containers and components for portioning and packaging.
- Adjust and troubleshoot filler, labeler, and bagging equipment as needed.
- Perform equipment cleaning, disinfection, and autoclaving tasks to maintain aseptic conditions.
- Sign off on bulk containers and verify lot numbers and quantities in documentation.
- Portion materials into containers under controlled production conditions following safety guidelines.
- Maintain proper inventory levels; follow up on shortages and order supplies as needed.
- Accurately record data including tests, calibrations, measurements, and conversions for traceability.
- Update systems including SAP and internal databases for batch processing and inventory management.
- Ensure cleanliness of all equipment, tools, and workstations; complete documentation logs for cleaning.
- Support process improvements by contributing ideas and participating in testing or implementation of changes.
- Maintain and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe safety shoes.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Report any safety or quality concerns immediately to leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing or cleanroom experience
Preferred:
- College coursework in Chemistry or related discipline
- Previous experience in weighing or handling chemicals
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, air tools, pumps, and electronic scales
- Proficiency with metric measurements, unit conversions, and basic math
- Familiarity with SOPs, GMP, UOPs, and general safety standards
- Eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills for equipment handling
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with legible handwriting
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and train others as needed
- Experience operating material handling equipment and updating ERP systems such as SAP

- Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities by overseeing team activities and acting as a lead in the supervisor’s absence.
- Understand when to make independent decisions and when to escalate issues to management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional support teams to ensure smooth operations.
