Production Technician (Manufacturing)

Position: Production Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN, United States | req23728 | 2nd Shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and utilize Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job-Safety Analyses (JSAs), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.
• Support and participate in safety initiatives and policies.
• Follow detailed instructions from senior operators, turnover reports, written instructions, or verbal guidance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through basic math and organized workspace management.
• Operate machines, forklifts, and related equipment in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions.
• Proficiency in basic math operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts, electric hoists, scales, and label machines.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, manipulate hands and fingers, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to wear a full or half-face respirator.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office are preferred.
