Job summary

Vylor Genetics is seeking a Production Technician at our Worthington, Indiana production facility. The role includes harvest prep, sorting, drying, conditioning, packaging, forklift operation, and data collection to support production goals.

You will work rotating shifts including nights and weekends during seasonal peaks, with emphasis on safety, LEAN practices, and growth opportunities in crop science.

Qualifications

• You have a Two-Year Technical or Associate Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• You have one year of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industry.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles (5S, Continuous Improvement, Standardized Work).

Responsibilities

• Harvest prep, sorting, drying, and related activities.
• Conditioning: sizing, gravity operation, packaging, palletizing, etc.
• Return and rework tasks as needed.
• Quality analysis & control activities during production.
• Field management tasks such as scouting and maintenance.
• Warehousing duties including forklift operation and sampling.
• Gather data for continuous improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
