Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products to standard or custom order specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with company products.
  • Resolve order discrepancies with customers and DE staff as necessary.
  • Pick and package parts or assemblies to fulfill customer orders.
  • Operate machine-shop equipment for mockups or production (mill, lathe, small tools).
  • Conduct product inspections, tests, or repairs per sales/BOM specification.
  • Assist the Engineering team with work instructions.
  • Assist with warehousing, inventory, shipping, receiving, housekeeping as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, production, and repair information in databases.
  • Routine operation and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Follow company policy and procedure with respect to systems, practices, and information sharing.
  • Maintain confidential documents & databases regarding customer contacts, costs, pricing, & contracts.
  • Manage and/or complete special projects as assigned.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions that promote continuous improvement.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provide production support to build and/or repair electrical components, customer assemblies, and fluid power components. Assist the engineering team with assembly, part machining, order processing, prototyping, or customer service as required.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE
  • Daily work site will be the company location in Grand Haven.Occasional work at the Grand Rapids site or customer site visits may also be required.
  • Full-time; specific hours and days are flexible and negotiable.
