AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to join its manufacturing facility in a fast-paced environment. You will build and test electro-mechanical systems by following engineering drawings and work instructions in our work order system.
You will perform mechanical assembly with hand and power tools, may solder as needed, and work with engineering to improve processes while maintaining high quality. A clean, safe workspace and team collaboration are essential to success.
AV is currently looking for a detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in building and testing high-quality electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies by precisely following released engineering drawings and work instructions through our work order system.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to frequently use hand tools (e.g. clamps) using light, minimal force. Regularly required to sit for long periods and occasionally stand for short periods. Frequently lift and/or carry objects of small size between 2lbs and 5lbs. Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and balance. Occasionally required to walk. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
No Clearance
The salary range for this role is: $24 - $37. AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Please understand that any job offer that requires approval of an export license will be conditional on AeroVironment’s determination that it will be able to obtain an export license in a time frame consistent with AeroVironment’s business requirements. A “U.S. person” according to the ITAR definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee. See 22 CFR § 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
