Job summary

AV is seeking an Electronic Technician to join its unmanned aircraft systems team in the Electronics Warfare unit. You will perform precision manufacturing and assembly of electrical wire harnesses, test and troubleshoot RF/microwave electronics, and ensure high-quality soldering to exacting standards.

This role requires US citizenship and willingness to travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with engineering to support design concepts, document procedures, and maintain manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field and 10+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB layout software.
• Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Expert soldering skills.
• Data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
• Understanding of basic engineering/technical principles.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

As an Electronic Technician, you will play a critical role in bringing advanced aerospace technologies to life by performing precision manufacturing and assembly of aircraft electrical systems. Responsibilities include building and installing electrical wire harnesses and bundles, wire stripping, connector terminations, and high-quality soldering to exacting standards. You will test, diagnose, and troubleshoot sophisticated electronic and control systems that power mission-critical unmanned air vehicles, ensuring peak performance and reliability.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or other related field and 10+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Effective knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB layout software.
• Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Expert soldering skills.
• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

The Salary Range For This Role Is

$68,000 - $103,750
