Job summary

Air Liquide is hiring a Production Technician for its Freeport, TX HYCO facility. You will join a team responsible for safe plant operation, routine rounds, and maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours/shift work including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants (PSM, EPA, FDA, state/local).
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures and proper safety practices.
• Ability to use computers; knowledge of MS Office.
• Forklift, man lift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of plant safety rules and procedures.
• Enter maintenance needs into the Maximo work order system.
• Perform operator rounds, take water samples, and support plant operations PMs.
• Maintain high housekeeping and documentation standards.
• Assist contractors and visitors while complying with safety policies.
• Follow SOPs, process diagrams, and electrical schematics as needed.
