Job summary

Linde Inc. in Freeport, TX is seeking a Production Technician to assemble and test gas handling systems for customers, and to build systems for internal use and R&D. You will read schematics, test for pressure and leak integrity, and perform onsite work with careful documentation.

Responsibilities also include maintaining the production area, supporting shipping tasks, and delivering technical support with independence and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Mechanical technical experience and basic wiring knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to think creatively.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational skills and ability to accomplish tasks timely with little or no supervision.
• Understanding of the function, procedures, and processes related to various gas handling systems is crucial.
• You will provide technical support as needed while always behaving in a safe manner.
• A valid driver license with reliable means of transportation is required.
