Job summary

Awning & Sign Contractors in Edgewater, Florida is seeking a Production Technician to fabricate custom aluminum awnings and architectural products. You will prepare materials, assemble products, and support daily production with a team of skilled craftsmen.

Responsibilities include handling hand and power tools, staining/finishing support, quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds and learning new skills.

AtAwning & Sign Contractors (ASC), every project starts with a great team. As a Production Technician, you'll help fabricate custom aluminum awnings, canopies, and architectural products that are installed on businesses across the country.

No two days are exactly alike, and your work will have a direct impact on the quality of every project that leaves our shop.

What You'll Do

As a Production Technician, you'll support the manufacturing process by preparing materials, assembling products, and keeping production running efficiently. You'll use a variety of tools and equipment while working alongside an experienced team to build high-quality custom products.

Your day may include:

Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for fabrication.

Operating hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.

Stapling, skinning, grinding, cleaning, packing, shipping, loading, and unloading materials.

Assisting with paint preparation and other finishing work.

Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.

Helping maintain inventory and keeping the production area clean, organized, and safe.

What We're Looking For

Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Good communication and organizational skills.

A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in a job well done.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position, so you'll be on your feet and moving throughout the day. Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, twisting, reaching, and performing physical work in a fast-paced production environment.
