Job summary

Acme Manufacturing is seeking a Production Technician to join our Denver facility. This role operates roll form presses, threading machines, punch presses, and related equipment to form metal parts used in home improvement products.

Acme Manufacturing is searching for a Production Technician to play a vital role in our production process. This position starts at $22.00 per hour and works Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm at our facility at I-70 and Monaco . Our machine operator positions operate roll form presses, threading machines, punch presses, forklifts, and hand tools in a warehouse environment making metal shapes used in the home improvement industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Our production technicians operate roll form presses, threading machines, punch presses, perforators, wash-lines, forklifts, and other machines required to make metal shapes. This is a physical job, requiring the frequent loading and unloading of materials. You will set-up and monitor machines, troubleshoot stoppages, and ensure finished products are up to our quality standards. Other responsibilities include:

• Adherence with our safety regulations.
• Material handling, loading, and unloading of machines.
• Basic machine maintenance, making adjustments, lubrication, and set-up.
• Performing quality checks on finished products.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

We are willing to train someone to run various types of machinery if they are willing to learn and have good mechanical aptitude. Other qualifications include:

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Proficient using gauges, tape measures, and other basic hand tools.
• Ability to document production and quality standards information.
• Familiarity with and willingness to adhere to warehouse and manufacturing safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position.
• Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet.
