Job summary

Compass Christian Church is seeking a full-time Lighting Technician to manage lighting across all campuses and provide A/V support for services and events. The position requires experience in church production environments, strong technical skills, and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in A/V with lighting and video systems.
• Experience with MA2/MA3 lighting consoles and Art-net networks.
• Familiarity with Avid S6L audio consoles and digital systems.
• Knowledge of Novastar LED wall processors and basic networking.
• Ability to work with outside vendors and coordinate projects.
• Experience with Blackmagic switchers/routers and broadcast workflows.
• Proficiency with software and hardware streaming setups.

Responsibilities

• Program lighting for students and weekend services across all Compass campuses.
• Lead lighting design and installs across all campuses.
• Maintain lighting systems and inventory.
• Assist in training new volunteers.
• Provide A/V technical support across all campuses.
• Run A/V systems for outside events.
• On call during services and events.
• Complete other duties assigned by the Campus Production Manager.
