Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Production Tech III in Odessa, TX for a 15-month contract (W2) with an established oil and gas client. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics and P&IDs, and a valid driver’s license for travel between field locations.

The position emphasizes safe, efficient field operations and adherence to environmental and safety standards. GED is required, and 5–10 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a Production Tech III to work for initially 15-Months contract in Odessa, TX. Job Type: W2 contract (Six Months with possibility for extension)

• Candidates submitted will need to have 5-10 years of experience in Oil and Gas.
• The Production Technician supports field operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas production equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring production facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company’s operational, environmental, and safety standards.
• The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently in a field environment, and effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams.
• At least a GED degree
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of production equipment and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel between field locations
