Job summary

Phenix Technology Inc., Riverside, CA, is seeking a production associate for a 12‑month, full‑time temporary assignment on‑site. Schedule is Mon–Thu, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with minimal travel. You will review orders, assemble products, and ensure quality through lean manufacturing practices.

You bring attention to detail, hand and power tool experience, and the ability to read work instructions. Teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to safe, efficient production are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or material preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity for precision assembly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative production environment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to embrace Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, procedures, parts lists, and build instructions to prepare for production.
• Gather correct parts, materials, and tools required for multiple product models.
• Lead the first position of the production assembly workstation, ensuring proper setup and material readiness.
• Assemble products and subassemblies across multiple production positions while following work instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools and assembly equipment safely.
• Ensure proper sequencing, fit, and orientation of components throughout the assembly process.
• Perform in-process inspections and functional checks to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
• Identify assembly issues or product defects and resolve or elevate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate production documentation as required.
• Follow the Phenix Quality System and all established manufacturing procedures.
• Support efficient material flow and production scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Collaborate with Production Leads, Quality, and fellow team members to improve workflow and productivity.
• Share ideas that improve quality, safety, efficiency, or the employee experience.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas and assist where business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals.
