Job summary

Medix in Irvine, CA is seeking a hands-on sanitation associate to maintain clean and safe production areas. You will thoroughly clean pans, containers, and equipment, and support autoclave sterilization processes to keep materials production-ready.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with strong communication and eagerness to learn and grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in sanitation, dishwashing, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is a major plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation & cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing pans, containers, and production equipment to remove biological residue according to strict safety and hygiene standards.
• Autoclave Operations: Supporting and operating autoclave sterilization processes for materials and equipment to ensure everything is fully prepped for production.
• Facility & Inventory: Keeping the washroom and autoclave areas clean, organized, and safe while loading/unloading production materials.
• Quality & Communication: Monitoring equipment performance, reporting any issues to leadership, and collaborating effectively with the team.

What We’re Looking For:
