Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Test Technician in Rochester, NY. You will collaborate with Test Engineering to fabricate and support test fixtures, documenting designs and troubleshooting NPI builds. The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and an associate degree in Electronics Technology.

The position offers a pay range of $18.89 - $31.49 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package, and participation in a discretionary annual bonus program.

• Ability to identify and resolve electrical defects.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing and troubleshooting production and NPI fixtures.
• Develop documentation to enable fixture duplication internally and at suppliers.
• Support CNC machining and 3D printing for fixture fabrication.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with manufacturing, NPI engineering, and supply chain to support rapid prototyping.
• Participating in pre-release design and process reviews.
