Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Production Team Partner in Springfield, MO to join our production department. You will work with a team to prepare orders and floormats for delivery, with a 40-hour workweek and weekends off.

We provide on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, and paid time off. As part of UniFirst, you’ll experience a family culture within a large garment services company.

Qualifications

• High school education (or GED) required.
• Must be 18+ to operate mat roller; 16+ to work in load area.
• Able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Able to lift 15-30 lbs.
• Able to perform basic math operations in standard units.

Responsibilities

• Bundle, package, and roll articles per company requirements.
• Handle flat goods orders and select appropriate items.
• Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, moisture, etc.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area supervisor or management

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
