Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Production Team Partner to join our team in Indianapolis. You will be part of a production group, preparing orders and floormats for delivery, with weekends off and on-the-job training available.

We offer an 8-hour workday, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for growth within a large garment services organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to lift up to 15-30 lbs.
• Able to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Age restrictions: 18+ to operate mat roller; 16+ to work in load building area.

Responsibilities

• Bundle, package, and roll articles per company requirements.
• Handle flat goods, select appropriate items.
• Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, moisture, etc.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Skills

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be working on a team to prepare orders and floormats for delivery to our customers. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
