Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner in Chattanooga, TN to join our UniFirst Family. You’ll work as a team to ensure garments are inspected and maintained to high quality while adhering to safety policies. The role offers on-the-job training and a strong company culture.

The position features a 40-hour work week with weekends off, an entry-level pathway, and opportunities for growth within our large organization. You’ll benefit from several employee programs and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance

Responsibilities

• Fold cloths, towels, and wipers
• Bundle, package, and bag articles in accordance with company requirements
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
