Job summary

UniFirst in Texas is seeking a Production Team Partner (Garment Sorter & Shipper) to help ensure on-time delivery of garments. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training, a 40-hour workweek, and opportunities to grow on the production floor.

You will prepare garments for shipment, organize by route, inspect quality, and follow safety policies. High school diploma or GED preferred; you must be at least 18 and able to lift up to 25 lb. Benefits include 401K, health insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management; basic math in standard units.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require polybagging/wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.

AtUniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediateopening and provide on the job training.
