Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our team in Orlando, FL. You will press garments, inspect quality, and ensure adherence to the 20-point inspection process as part of a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 10 lbs. (occasional heavier items).

Responsibilities

• Press garments on a pressing machine.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains and damage.
• Ensure garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process.
• Follow safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

UniFirst is seeking areliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family.As a Team Partner in the Shaking and Pressing Department, you will be workingon a team to help ensure quality assurance for our customers by utilizing a 20-pointinspection process and pressing garments for a finished appearance. At UniFirstwe have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediateopening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

• Press garments on a pressingmachine
• Visually inspect all garmentsfor tears, holes, stains and damage
• Ensure all garments pass theUniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process
• Followall safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Performother duties as described by area supervisor or management

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to lift garments no more than 10 lbs. at a time and push heavy carts no more than 50 lbs
