Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Production Team Partner for the Shaking and Pressing Department in Stratford, CT. You will join a team ensuring quality through a detailed 20-point inspection while pressing garments for a finished appearance.

We offer on-the-job training, a 40-hour workweek with weekends off, and a variety of benefits including 401K with company match and health insurance. Growth and cross-training are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.

Responsibilities

• Press garments on a pressing machine.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains and damage.
• Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.

UniFirst is seeking areliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family.As a Team Partner in the Shaking and Pressing Department, you will be workingon a team to help ensure quality assurance for our customers by utilizing a 20-pointinspection process and pressing garments for a finished appearance. At UniFirstwe have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediateopening and provide on the job training.
