Job summary

Woodbridge in Riverside, MO is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Assembler to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of components to customers. You will perform assembly on a moving line, use torque tools and basic shop equipment, and rotate through multiple tasks to support production flow.

• Must have the ability to use both hands for assembling product.

Responsibilities

• Understand safety requirements for PPE, machine guarding and related standards.
• Assemble components using standardized work and tools.
• Insert components into molds on a moving production line.
• Inspect, repair, and package product on a moving conveyor system.
• Learn multiple jobs and rotate positions as scheduled.
• Assist other manufacturing colleagues to fulfill customer orders.
• Maintain 5S standards for organization and housekeeping.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.

Role Purpose

Provides support to assure the accurate, timely and quality delivery of components to customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment, machine guarding, and other safety requirements; and comply with each applicable to position assigned.
• Complete manufacturing assembly utilizing standardized work, torque tools, pneumatic and other tools.
• Insert components into molds on a moving production line
• Remove, inspect, repair, and package product on a moving conveyor system
• Learn multiple jobs and rotate positions as scheduled
• Assist other manufacturing colleagues as needed to complete customer orders.
• Maintain work area to 5S standards for organization, housekeeping and inspection.
• Be actively involved with Continuous Improvement Program and participate in Kaizen events as scheduled.

• Must be able to stand on feet for 8 or more hours.
• Must have ability to use both hands for assembling product.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have good attendance.
