Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for safe, on-time part loading, operate equipment, and follow standard work while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will rotate through jobs, work with your team, and participate in Kaizen and FMDS practices to raise quality and efficiency. Strong safety, attendance, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety & PPE compliance at all times.
  • Report to the assigned work area on time to execute part loading and handling.
  • Follow quality inspection procedures to deliver defect-free products.
  • Rotate through production jobs to build skills and flexibility.
  • Learn and follow procedures for Powered Industrial Equipment (P.I.E.).
  • Escalate any safety, quality, production, or equipment issues to the Team Leader.
  • Apply Toyota Production System principles, including Kaizen, Standard Work, and FMDS standards.
  • Communicate respectfully with customers and follow team instructions.

Job Summary Are you a detail-oriented team player looking to build a career in modern manufacturing? We are seeking a dedicated Production Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our customers receive high-quality parts safely and on time. You will work in a collaborative environment, learn cutting-edge manufacturing methodologies, and participate directly in continuous improvement initiatives.

Major Responsibilities
  • Safety & Compliance : Maintain strict adherence to all safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements at all times.
  • Daily Operations : Report to your assigned work area on time daily to execute part loading and handling processes, ensuring precise production sequencing order.
  • Quality Assurance : Follow all quality inspection procedures consistently to deliver defect-free products to the customer.
  • Teamwork & Flexibility : Work closely with team members and rotate through various production jobs to build skills flexibility and comprehensive process knowledge.
  • Equipment Operation : Learn and follow proper operating procedures for Powered Industrial Equipment (P.I.E.) required for your specific area.
  • Problem Escalation : Immediately contact your Team Leader regarding any issues relating to safety, quality, production, or equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement (TPS) : Learn and actively apply Toyota Production System principles, including:
    • Kaizen : Participate in problem-solving and Continuous Improvement activities using the P.D.C.A. (Plan, Do, Check, Act) framework.
    • Standard Work : Understand and comply with established standard work procedures.
    • FMDS Compliance : Execute Floor Management Development System standards to take 5-S workplace organization to the next level.
  • Customer & Leadership Communication : Maintain respectful, accountable, and professional communication with customers and follow work instructions from your Team Leader.
