Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Florence, SC is seeking a Production Team Member to join our busy mill and support operating areas. This role requires a strong safety mindset, the ability to learn multiple tasks, and a willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of full-time manufacturing experience, and basic math, reading and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of continuous full-time work experience, preferably in a manufacturing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• A strong Safety mindset and a commitment to work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to work in noisy environments, around chemicals, high heat, and be exposed to weather conditions.
