Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Florence, SC is seeking a Production Team Member to support operating areas of the mill. You will work in a team, follow SOPs, and participate in safety and environmental protocols while maintaining clean, orderly work areas.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, 2 years of manufacturing experience (or equivalent education), basic computer skills, the ability to read a tape measure, lift up to 50 lbs, and work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of continuous full-time work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• A strong Safety mindset and a commitment to work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to work in noisy environments, around chemicals, high heat, and be exposed to weather conditions.
