Job Title: Production Team Member

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Non-Exempt Position

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate and maintain an environment that puts Safety and Compliance first
• Engage in the spirit outlined in the Knight Material Technologies How We Work Principles
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Knight Material Technologies’ attendance policy
• Performs assigned duties to support the production of ceramic products required for customer demand with an attention to quality product outputs
• Communicating regularly with Manufacturing Operations Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Production manager to keep everyone informed of production delays
• Updating information on forms and in computer systems with accurate and timely data.
• Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Willing and able to work in an environment that can be hot, humid, dusty, and noisy.
• Willing and able to adhere to safe work practices, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Willing to be a contribution-minded member of a high-performing team.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Two (2) or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Press or extrusion experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive walking and standing
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility
• Willing and able to work in environments that may be hot, humid, dusty, and noisy; adherence to safe work practices and PPE is required.
